Facebook Pixel tracking

December 30, 2019

Your website most likely includes built-in Facebook Pixel tracking for certain user events. This article will explain which website actions trigger specific Facebook Pixel events.

Initial set-up

Before your website can track Facebook Pixel events, you must install the pixel code from the Oliver connections page. This requires several account codes and keys. If you need help, just submit a ticket and our team will be happy to help you install your tracking code.

Pixel tracking events

  • When a user submits your contact us form or registers through a sign-up form (including pop-ups), a Facebook Complete Registration event is triggered.
  • When a user reaches your booking page, a Facebook Initiate Checkout event is triggered.
  • When a user inputs their contact information and continues, a Facebook Complete Registration event is triggered.
  • When a user completes the booking, a Facebook Purchase event is triggered and the booking total is passed as the value.
